Biochemical Control after HDR Prostate Brachytherapy Boost for T3b Cancer: the Stokes Centre for Urology Experience
Purpose: High dose rate prostate brachytherapy (HDR-PB) allows dose escalation after external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) and androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and is an effective treatment for patients with high-risk prostate cancer [1,2]. The purpose of this study is to present the experience of the Stokes Centre for Urology with HDR-PB in T3b disease, looking at biochemical control.
