Assessing the Value of CT in the Staging and Management of High-risk Prostate Cancer Patients
Purpose: Pelvic magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and isotope bone scans (BS) to exclude locoregional or distant metastatic spread are recommended in men with high-risk prostate cancer (PCa) by national and international guidelines [1 –3]. The added benefit of computerised tomography (CT) staging is less clear. We aimed to assess the addition of CT to staging and management of PCa.
