The Psychometric Properties of the Chinese version of the Interoceptive Awareness Questionnaire (IAQ) among PATIENTS WITH Cardiovascular Disease

Interoception refers to the perception of changes within intenal body.1 Recently, a new explanation of interoception has been suggested, the processes including biological sensation, integrates, interprets, and signal-regulated from within itself.2 Interoception includes three dimensions, such as, interoceptive awareness (referring to a person's belief and awareness of their internal perception ability), accuracy (the performance and reliability of objective measures of internal detection, i. e., heartbeats), and metacognitive dimension (accurate perception on one's own interoceptive behavior) .
