9. Compliance with national guidance for temporomandibular joint replacement (TMJR) surgery at a tertiary referral centre
Alloplastic temporomandibular joint replacement (TMJR) is considered when conservative management has failed and there is evidence of disease involving the condyle. It is intended to re ‑establish function and relieve pain. Our primary objective was to evaluate the compliance of a tertiary TMJR service with 2014 National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance.
