54. Time from surgery to adjuvant treatment in the management of Oral Cancer – National findings from the BAOMS QOMS initiative
There is published evidence to indicate that delay to the start of adjuvant treatment following surgery for oral cancer has a significant impact on survival outcomes. This has been recognised as an important metric which has been selected as a quality indicator within the BAOMS QOMS initiative.
