Sex-dependent hypothalamic response in a diet-induced obesity murine model

Rationale: The hypothalamic inflammation is a key pathophysiological mechanism that links chronic consumption of lipids to the development of obesity and associated metabolic complications (Lee et al., 2020). However, the sex-dependent effects remain poorly studied. Therefore, we aimed to evaluate the sex-dependent hypothalamic response to a high fat diet (HFD) in mice.
