Prevalence and correlates of classical eating disorders during COVID-19 lockdown among Lebanese universities students

Rationale: Eating Disorders (EDs) are mental illnesses that affect all individuals worldwide, causing severe complications. Several risk factors have been associated with the development of classical eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), and Binge Eating Disorder (BED)). The current COVID-19 pandemic imposed psychological distress, mainly on individuals with existing mental health issues. Our aim was to assess the prevalence and correlates of classical EDs among students from different Lebanese universities during the COVID-19 lockdown.
