ConclusionAmong nonfunctioning Pit-NETs, Pit-1 lineage tumors tend to invade the cavernous sinus, corticotroph tumors may produce dura mater defects, and null cell tumors tend to cause both. Pit-NETs with cavernous sinus invasion require a careful attention to recurrence.
