Clinical factors associated with severe surgical complications in patients with hypopharyngeal cancer: a single-center case-cohort study

CONCLUSIONS AND SIGNIFICANCE: T3/4 stage, RT, nonprimary closure, and DM were independent predisposing factors for severe surgical complications in our study population of hypopharyngeal cancer patients.
