Phantom study investigating the repeatability of radiomic features with alteration of image acquisition parameters in magnetic resonance imaging

Radiomics is the high throughput analysis of medical imaging data using computer algorithms, which produces thousands of quantifiable features [1,2]. These features have been shown to correlate with underlying pathological and genetic findings [1,2]. In recent years there has been an exponential increase in the number of articles and studies produced within the field of radiomics. Its potential to provide imaging biomarkers to enable personalised medicine has been acknowledged. However, as a field, radiomics is not without its limitations.
