In Reply: Regarding Racial and Gender Differences in Medical Student Burnout: A 2021 National Survey
We thank West et al for their letter to the Editor in response to our previously published report on medical student burnout in the United States.1 They raised the well-appreciated point about the many definitions and metrics for physician burnout and consequently how care must be taken in comparing results across studies.
