Therapeutic drug monitoring of inhaled drugs in hair of patients with asthma: a proof-of-concept study
Conclusions: These results confirm the feasibility of measuring budesonide and formoterol in the hair and suggest a relationship between drug exposure and hair concentrations. This may be of interest in difficult-to-treat severe asthma.
