Diagnostics and surgical treatment of painful neuromas

CONCLUSION: In addition to standardized diagnostics the management of painful neuromas often requires a surgical intervention after all conservative therapeutic measures have been exhausted. As an alternative to restoring the continuity of the injured nerve, targeted reinnervation of electively denervated target organs by the formerly neuroma-bearing nerve is preferable over other techniques.PMID:37857991 | DOI:10.1007/s00115-023-01563-8
