In reply to the letter to the editor regarding: Cerebral arteriopathy in a pediatric stroke due to mutations in MYH11

We express our gratitude to Professor Finsterer for his keen interest in our manuscript and insightful comments on our research. In our study, we presented the case of a 12-year-old patient with a family history of aortic dissection and a positive MYH11 genotype, who presented with an acute ischemic stroke. Our investigation involved an extensive assessment, encompassing a comprehensive stroke evaluation and genetic testing. Additionally, we conducted baseline and follow-up 7 Tesla High-Resolution Vessel Wall Imaging (7T HR-VWI) to monitor arterial wall changes.
