Bilateral Breast Cancer With Contralateral Axillary Metastasis Warrants Aggressive Treatment: Let's Go for It!

This patient with a history of left breast cancer now presents with bilateral breast cancers (right: pT1N0M0, anatomic and prognostic stage IA; left: pT4bNXM1, anatomic and prognostic stage IV with contralateral axillary metastasis [CAM]).1 With limited information regarding her prior cancer, we have staged the current left-sided cancer as a new primary.
