Refining Automated External Defibrillator Signage to Improve Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest Survival

Public-access automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are crucial in situations of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA), with time to these devices being located being directly associated with patient survival. Previous studies have examined evidence-based strategies regarding the strategic placement of public AEDs [1]. A deliberate evidence-based approach to the design, colour, and content of signage is required to enable rapid public-access.
