Emergency Treatment and Photoacoustic Assessment of Spinal Cord Injury Using Reversible Dual ‐Signal Transform‐Based Selenium Antioxidant (Small 35/2023)
Spinal Cord InjuriesIn article number2207888, Xianjin Du, Jian Zhang, Hongsheng Lin, Yuhui Liao, and co-workers design an emergency treatment and photoacoustic severity assessment (ETPSA) strategy for spinal cord injury (SCI) based on the selenium (Se) matrix antioxidant system Se@BDP-DOH nanoparticles, which can real-time evaluate the severity of SCI using photoacoustic signals and simultaneously effectively inhibit oxidative stress-induced damage in neuron cells to reconstruct the redox microenvironment, accompanying the increasing branch and extension of nerves.
