Albumin-Bilirubin Score at Post-Hepatectomy Hepatocellular Carcinoma Recurrence: Impact on Survival and Association with Post-Hepatectomy Liver Failure

ConclusionsThe ALBI score at recurrence was a significant prognostic factor for SAR, and the ALBI scores at hepatectomy and PHLF  ≥ Grade B were independently associated with the ALBI score at recurrence. Prevention of PHLF and consequent preservation of liver function at recurrence may be paramount to achieving better survival after HCC recurrence.
