Doubling Down On The “Fast-On, Fast-Off” Phenomenon With Accelerated iTBS X2

Background: Accelerated iTBS showed high efficacy in depression treatment. A higher response rate was reported in SAINT and SNT. Results of both SAINT and SNT hinted at less-than-optimal durability after 4 to 5 weeks. This “fast-on, fast-off” phenomenon has been a concern for accelerated iTBS. Here we report on the durability of dual courses of accelerated intermittent theta burst stimulation.
