Cardiovocal syndrome is a clinical entity manifested by hoarseness.1,2 This syndrome is due to the left recurrent laryngeal nerve (LRLN) palsy caused by cardiovascular pathology.1,2 Although various cardiovascular pathologies, such as mitral stenosis, atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, and patent ductus arteriosus, can lead to LRLN palsy,3 cardiovocal syndrome caused by totally anomalous pulmonary venous drainage (TAPVD) has never been reported in the English literature, based on our analysis.
