We thank Drs Nasir and Bai1 for their thoughtful comments and thorough reading of our article comparing traumatic and atraumatic over-the-scope-clips (OTSCs, t-type, a-type).2 We agree with the authors that GI bleeding is still a burden of disease, and in particular the management of duodenal ulcer bleeding can be challenging.3 However, there is plenty of evidence regarding the choice of hemostatic therapy for bleeding ulcers. In principle, the use of clips, monopolar or bipolar electrocoagulation, heater probe, argon plasma coagulation, sclerosant injection, and hemostatic powder or gel is possible.
