Urodynamic assessment in patients suffering concomitant overactive bladder syndrome (OAB-S) and vulvo-vaginal atrophy (VVA) treated with ospemifene

Introduction and Aim of the Study: Overactive Bladder Syndrome (OAB-S) is a complex and multifactorial syndrome in which menopausal transition and the ageing process could be contributing factors. Urinary Urgency (UU) is the key symptom reported in the condition of OAB in Post-Menopausal Women (PMW) suffering from Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause. Even if there are some evidences that the use of hormonal treatments like vaginal estrogens in PMW may be helpful, the evidence on the possible role of others hormonal treatments in improving OAB-S in PMW is scant.
