The efficacy of antibiotic and alpha ‐blocker combination therapy versus antibiotic monotherapy in chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome: A systematic review

ConclusionsThe combination therapy of antibiotics and alpha-blockers is not substantially better than antibiotic monotherapy in the first 6  weeks of treatment for CP/CPPS patients. This might not be applicable to a longer duration of treatment.
