Barriers and facilitators to the adoption of digital health interventions for COPD management: A scoping review
Globally, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a leading cause of death of morbidity and mortality.1 Characterized by persistent respiratory symptoms and airflow limitation, COPD is a chronic disease that can be largely prevented and treated.2 Yet, COPD accounts for a substantial economic and social burden that is set to increase in the coming years.2 Evidently, improved quality care services that reduce burden and costs are needed.
