Front Cover: Effects of Allergen ‐Specific and Non‐Specific AGEs on the Allergenicity of Ovalbumin in a Mouse Model of Food Allergy

This study investigated the role of allergen-specific and non-specific AGEs in allergenicity of ovalbumin (OVA) in a mouse model of food allergy. The OVA-AGE elicits a stronger Th2-response than native OVA, in comparison to severer disruptions in gut barrier function and gut microbiota in mice exposed to non-relevant AGEs. This is reported by Shuifeng Zhang, Linglin Fu, and co-workers in article number2200221.
