Impacting heart failure patients lives through missed opportunities

Heart failure (HF) continues to be a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Similarly, the health and economic burden of HF in the U.S. continues to grow, with an increasing rate of both HF deaths and hospitalizations.1 It is evident that there are continued opportunities for HF nurses to impact the care and outcomes of this vulnerable patient population.
