RFA in a patient with a DBS

Question for the hive: I have a patient I considered doing lumbar MBB RFA on but he has a DBS for parkinson's disease. I reached out to medtronic to see if the device needs to be turned off prior to RFA. Turns out that the safety has not been established for RFA in patients with a DBS due to the electrical currents potentially causing heating of the electrodes and possible tissue damage.
