Cervical cancer after the Manchester procedure: a nationwide cohort study

ConclusionsWomen undergoing the Manchester procedure are at lower risk of being diagnosed with cervical cancer, while the risk of cancer specific mortality is unchanged compared to women undergoing anterior colporrhaphy. Based on this study, we cannot recommend that women exit ordinary screening programs for human papillomavirus/cervical dysplasia after a Manchester procedure.
