Modulation of sensitization and inflammation through S. aureus nasal carriage in allergic asthma patients and a mouse model
Conclusion: In allergic asthma patients, S. aureus colonization was associated with toxin-specific IgE-sensitization. S. aureus colonization in mice provides a valuable model to assess its immunological interplay with allergic airway inflammation in common mouse models.
