Meta-analysis of the Risk Factors for Urinary Tract Infection in Children
Conclusions:
Being overweight or obese and having poor fluid intake are modifiable risk factors that increase the risk for UTIs in children. Breast-feeding and circumcision are associated with a decreased occurrence of UTIs.
