Meta-Analysis Comparing Clinical Outcomes of Fractional-Flow-Reserve- and Angiography-Guided Multivessel Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Fractional flow reserve (FFR) to guide percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for intermediate coronary stenosis in the setting of multivessel coronary artery disease (CAD) is recommended by the latest 2022 American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association/Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions guideline (class of recommendation I, level of evidence A).1 This recommendation is predominantly derived from the landmark Fractional Flow Reserve Versus Angiography for Multivessel Evaluation (FAME) trial.
