Quercetin Supplement to Aspirin Attenuates Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Pre-eclampsia-Like Impairments in Rats Through the NLRP3 Inflammasome

ConclusionsOur data suggested that quercetin supplementation to aspirin is more effective in attenuating symptoms of pre-eclampsia and improving pregnancy outcomes compared with quercetin or aspirin alone. Quercetin can ameliorate placental NLRP3 inflammasome activation, which might serve as an underlying mechanism for its therapeutic efficacies in pre-eclampsia.
