Characterizing response to a dynamic stability modeled approach for thumb carpometacarpal joint pain: A retrospective study

Hand therapists frequently work with clients experiencing symptoms related to thumb carpometacarpal joint osteoarthritis (CMC OA). Symptomatic thumb CMC OA results in pain, decreased pinch and grasp strength and difficulty in daily activities.1,2 Clients are often referred to therapy by physicians whose assessments may include radiographic assessment.3
