I am going to confess that I am my children’s pediatrician. I have given them every vaccination they have ever had and probably would not trust another provider to do it. I endorse the vaccination schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics; I believe it is safe and prevents disease. Louisiana Mother Knows 8 Vaccine Doses Killed Her 2 Month-Old Son
Two month-old Reid Thomas Englehart was vaccinated on May 20, 2015. He was given eight vaccine doses, which included the DTaP, Hib, polio, pneumococcal, hepatitis B and the oral rotavirus vaccines. Could Dangerous Mandatory Vaccines Containing Aluminum Salts be Responsible for Microcephaly in Brazil?
Conclusion
There is mounting evidence to suggest that vaccinations and medications containing aluminum salts are harmful to brain development. We need to ask ourselves why a vaccination known to contain well above the recommended levels of aluminum has been passed as safe for use in pregnancy by the Brazilian Health Ministry.
For more information on the dangers of aluminum, I recommend parents read the growing number of articles, studies and peer-reviewed papers that the Children’s Medical Safety Research Institute have listed on their website.

CDC: Help Protect Babies from Whooping Cough
Whooping cough (pertussis) is a very contagious illness that can be especially serious for babies. The Centers for Disease Control recommends the following steps to protect babies from whooping cough:
If you are pregnant, get vaccinated with the whooping cough vaccine in your third trimester.
Surround your baby with family members and caregivers who are up-to-date with their whooping cough vaccine.
Make sure your baby gets all his doses of the whooping cough vaccine.

Deciding on whether to vaccinate your baby is never easy. In this case, Alisa decided to hold back on having her baby vaccinated until he was older.
