Stable vs Unstable angina?

However, the answer was unstable angina b/c of the prompt "he had never had a pain like that before." = new in onset so the professor said, because it is new in onset, there was probably an atherosclerotic plaque that ruptured and created a thrombus that incompletely obstructed his BF, causing an unstable angina.
