Net patient service revenue number (NPSR), in all cases, was provided by CHIA. FTE number provided is as of Sept. 1, 2020, except in cases where hospitals did not respond to survey requests, in which case, all data points were provided by CHIA and reflect fiscal 2019. Tropical Storm Dorian Could Hit Puerto Rico As a Hurricane. Here ’s the Latest Track and Forecast
Tropical Storm Dorian is strengthening as it moves westward towards the Caribbean, and could reach hurricane strength by early Thursday, possibly before hitting Puerto Rico. US 1 of 8 nations where child & adolescent health improved but maternal mortality worsened
(Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation) The United States is one of only eight countries in the world where decreases in child and adolescent mortality over a 27-year period haven't also been matched by reductions in maternal mortality, according to a new scientific study. This divergent trend also was found in American Samoa, Canada, Greece, Guam, Jamaica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Zimbabwe.
