Ischemic Stroke Patients' Decision-Making Process in Their Use of Western Medicine and Alternative and Complementary Medicine
This study aimed to explore ischemic stroke patients' decision-making process using Western medicine (WM) and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). This study is a qualitative study based on grounded theory. A total of 12 participants were recruited. Findings revealed that the participants accepted WM and CAM treatments following the onset of ischemic stroke. Three categories and several subcategories emerged from stroke patients' decision-making process. Interventions for treating urinary incontinence after stroke in adults.
CONCLUSIONS: There is insufficient evidence to guide continence care of adults in the rehabilitative phase after stroke. As few trials tested the same intervention, conclusions are drawn from few, usually small, trials. CIs were wide, making it difficult to ascertain if there were clinically important differences. Contextual factors that shape recovery after stroke in Malaysia.

Kinesio Taping for Balance Function after Stroke: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.
Conclusions: Based on current evidence, KT was more effective than CR for balance function, lower limb function, and walking function in poststroke patients. Longer treatment duration may be associated with better effects. However, more well-conducted RCTs are required in the future.

Discovery of Herbal Pairs Containing Gastrodia elata Based on Data Mining and the Delphi Expert Questionnaire and Their Potential Effects on Stroke through Network Pharmacology.
Conclusion: The herbal pairs of TM-CX and TM-JH obtained from data mining and the expert investigation were found to have effects of preventing and treating stroke through network pharmacology. This could be a viable approach to uncover hidden knowledge about TCM formulae and to discover herbal combinations with clinical and medicinal value based on data mining and questionnaires.

Comparative Effectiveness of Different Combinations of Treatment Interventions in Patients with Stroke at the Convalescence Stage Based on the Markov Decision Process.
Conclusions: The MDP makes it possible to study the effectiveness of various treatment methods in stroke patients who are at the convalescence stage. Further exploratory studies using MDP theory in other areas in which complex interventions are common would be worthwhile.

Systems Pharmacology-Dissection of the Molecular Mechanisms of Dragon's Blood in Improving Ischemic Stroke Prognosis.

Neuroprotective Effects of Early Hypothermia Induced by Phenothiazines and DHC in Ischemic Stroke.
Conclusion: Both interischemia and inter-reperfusion pharmacological hypothermia treatments play a role in neuroprotection after stroke. Interischemia hypothermia treatment may be better able to induce stronger neuroprotection after ischemic stroke. This study provides a new avenue and reference for stronger neuroprotective hypothermia before vascular recanalization in stroke patients.

Use of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Its Impact on Medical Cost among Urban Ischemic Stroke Inpatients in China: A National Cross-Sectional Study
CONCLUSION: Although the use of TCM reduced the cost of conventional medicine compared with TCM nonusers, TCM imposed an extra financial component on the total inpatient cost on TCM users.
