P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy in complex percutaneous coronary intervention: A post-hoc analysis of SMART-CHOICE randomized clinical trial
CONCLUSIONS: P2Y₁₂ inhibitor monotherapy, mostly clopidogrel, following 3 months of DAPT did not increase ischemic events in patients with complex PCIs.PMID:34523115 | DOI:10.5603/CJ.a2021.0101

Incidence, predictors, and clinical outcomes of mechanical circulatory support-related complications in patients with cardiogenic shock
CONCLUSIONS: Among several important complications in CS patients with MCS, major bleeding events most strongly affected the mortality. Implanted MCS type was associated with the device-related complications.PMID:34511239 | DOI:10.1016/j.jjcc.2021.08.011

Abbreviated Antiplatelet Therapy in Patients at High Bleeding Risk With or Without Oral Anticoagulant Therapy After Coronary Stenting: An Open-Label, Randomized, Controlled Trial
Conclusions: Rates of NACE and MACCE did not differ with abbreviated APT in high bleeding risk patients with or without an OAC indication and resulted in lower bleeding rates in patients without an OAC indication. Clinical Trial Registration: URL: https://www.clinicaltrials.gov Unique identifier:NCT03023020.PMID:34455849 | DOI:10.1161/CIRCULATIONAHA.121.056680

Predictive models for adverse clinical outcomes in Chinese patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention with stenting
CONCLUSION: Chinese patients with AF and coronary stenting had high mortality and incidence of MACCE. We compiled separate predictive models for all-cause death, IS/STE, MACCE, and major bleeding.PMID:34353224 | DOI:10.1080/00015385.2021.1950367
