Enhancing the role of the social network in activity (re)engagement post-stroke: a focus group study with rehabilitation professionals
CONCLUSIONS: Strategies to involve the social network of people post-stroke are not fully implemented. Although identifying members of a social network should begin during inpatient rehabilitation, the main part of actively engaging the network will have to take place when the people post-stroke return home. Assessment of National Program for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, CVD and Stroke (NPCDCS): An observational study in rural Jaipur, Rajasthan
CONCLUSION: The study concludes that the implementation of NPCDCS program activities is not in synch with the health staff awareness level. IEC activities were deficient and no work was done for adoption of behavioural change and healthy lifestyle. The re-analysis of Women's Health Initiative and the publication of data emerging from recent clinical trials data have restored the initial decline in the use of menopausal hormone therapy (MHT), due to adverse events, such as stroke and pulmonary embolism [1,2]. Nowadays, an increasing number of women treat their menopausal symptoms with hormonal therapies, which exhibit a better safety profile. However, the association of MHT with cancer development remains a potent drawback, with breast and endometrial cancer being the most frequently reported neoplasms [3,4].

Intracerebral Hemorrhages Related to Clinical Conditions and Associated Outcomes Among Saudi and Non-Saudi Patients in a University Hospital: A Retrospective Study
Conclusion: Non-Saudi ICH survivors had significant intraventricular extension of hematoma and required more neurosurgical interventions such as EVD procedures compared to Saudi patients. Both groups had associated comorbidities that may influence the incidence of ICH. Appropriate medical care to prevent stroke complications, especially for the older male population, as a strategy for secondary prevention of such neurologic sequelae is recommended.PMID:36280387 | DOI:10.4088/PCC.21m03192
