Temporal Summation in Chronic Pelvic Pain.
CONCLUSION: Women with chronic pelvic pain and allodynia show significant worsening of pain with successive strokes of a cotton-tip applicator, thus indicates that wind-up and central sensitization are present in women with chronic pelvic pain and allodynia. Clinical Validation of Non-Invasive Cardiac Output Monitoring in Healthy Pregnant Women.
CONCLUSIONS: There is no gold standard for the measurement of cardiac output in the setting of pregnancy. However, once normal values have been established, NICOM has the potential to be a useful clinical tool for monitoring maternal hemodynamics in pregnant women. Further investigation regarding the validity of NICOM is required in larger populations of healthy and hypertensive pregnant women to determine whether this device is appropriate for maternal hemodynamic assessment during pregnancy. Atrial Fibrillation in a Structurally Normal Heart during Pregnancy: A Review of Cases From a Registry and From the Literature.
CONCLUSION: The GÉMOQ's Registry added 12 cases (16 pregnancies) to the existing literature. AF during pregnancy is an arrhythmia that is mainly unprovoked, paroxysmal, and stable, with spontaneous cardioversion occurring usually within 24 hours.
