Combined transcranial Direct Current Stimulation and robot-assisted arm training in patients with stroke: a systematic review
CONCLUSIONS: To date, there is insufficient evidence to support the hypothesis that transcranial Direct Current Stimulation enhances the effects of robot-assisted arm training in poststroke patients. Further studies with more accurate, comparable and standardized methodology are needed in order to better define the effects of robotic training in combination with transcranial Direct Current Stimulation on poststroke upper limb impairment. Therefore, given the scarce resources available to rehabilitation researches, other, more promising approaches should be given attention.PMID:34974446 | DOI:10.3233/RNN-211218

Correlation of DTI-Derived Measures to Therapy-Mediated Recovery after Stroke: Preliminary Findings
Conclusion: Clinical and functional recovery after stroke is well-correlated with the DTI and BOLD parameters i.e., rFA ratios, CST involvement fiber numbers, and % signal intensity of the ipsilesional cortex.

Therapists acting as data collectors in a post stroke research project - a door to development
Conclusion:New insights into the patients' situation with clinical implications for interprofessional care can be gained by collecting data in a research project that is related to, but different from, everyday clinical practice. Such an assignment can be experienced as professionally rewarding, and we propose that offering such a role change/transition may open the door to development for rehabilitation team members.PMID:34340638 | DOI:10.1080/10749357.2021.1956045
