Thematic Analysis of Psychosocial Stressors and Adaptive Coping Strategies Among Informal Caregivers of Patients Surviving ICU Admission for Coma
ConclusionsIn response to substantial stressors, family caregivers of patients with SABI attempted to enact various psychological and behavioral coping strategies. They described avoidance and distraction as less helpful than other coping strategies but had difficulty engaging in alternative strategies because of their emotional distress. These findings can directly inform the development of additional resources to mitigate the long-term impact of acute psychological distress among this caregiver population.

ConclusionWe established a predictive model in patients with PSD using a non-swallowing assessment, which enabled us to predict swallowing recovery based on the non-swallowing function.

Development and validation of a nomogram for decannulation in patients with neurological injury: A prognostic accuracy study
ConclusionWe developed a nomogram that can predict the probability of decannulation within 6 months in tracheostomized neurological injury patients. The nomogram, including age, NIHSS scores, early rehabilitation, shock, and secondary surgery, may assist clinicians in estimating patients' prognosis.

Timing of Tracheostomy in Patients with Intracerebral Haemorrhage: A Propensity-Matched Analysis
CONCLUSION: We recommend ET for high-risk patients with ICH.
