Experience and insights from a prolonged electrocardiographic monitorization with a wearable system after an embolic stroke of unknown source
ConclusionPCMw represents a feasible non-invasive device that could reliably detect subclinical AF episodes after an ESUS. Diagnostic yield was significatively higher when used within the first 30 days after the event, especially in selected patients. UAE were common, but did not impact prognosis.

Silent Myocardial Infarction: A Case Report
We present a case of a 59-year-old overweight woman with prediabetes, primary hypertension, and hypercholesterolemia who presented for herpes zoster (HZ) follow-up; she reported having skipped heartbeats and heart rate fluctuations during the review of systems. On further workup, ECG revealed low voltage QRS complexes, flat QRS complexes, flat T waves, and pathological Q waves, suggesting the diagnosis of SMI. Reversible supraventricular tachycardia and left bundle branch block in a marathon runner with exertional heat stroke in the Po Valley
We report the case of a 52-year-old marathon runner admitted to our emergency department for exertional heat stroke (EHS). The electrocardiogram (ECG) showed a supraventricular tachycardia, probably an atrial flutter with 2:1 block, conducted with left bundle branch block. After 10 minutes of aggressive fluid management and rapid external cooling, the ECG returned to normal.
