A comprehensive exercise program for a young adult male with Down syndrome who experienced a stroke.
Conclusion: Improved cardiorespiratory fitness, strength, balance and mobility provide preliminary evidence of the trainability of individuals with both DS and stroke. Future studies are warranted to investigate the role of exercise in risk factor reduction for primary and secondary prevention of stroke in people with DS. Benefits of an interdisciplinary stroke clinic: addressing a gap in physical therapy at post-stroke neurology follow-up

Adherence of physical therapy with clinical practice guidelines for the rehabilitation of stroke in an active inpatient setting.
CONCLUSION: This audit provides an initial picture of the current adherence of physical therapy assessment and management with the stroke physical therapy guideline at a tertiary rehabilitation hospital in the state of Qatar. Functional Principal Component Analysis as a new methodology for the analysis of the impact of two rehabilitation protocols in functional recovery after stroke
Conclusions:
FPCA is a method which may be used to provide greater insight into the analysis of the rehabilitation process than that provided by conventional parametric methods. So, by using the whole curves as basic data parameters, subtle differences in the rehabilitation process can be found.FPCA represents a future aid for the fine analysis of similar physiotherapy techniques, when applied in subjects with a huge variability of functional recovery, as in the case of post-stroke patients.

Efficacy of robotic exoskeleton for gait rehabilitation in patients with subacute stroke: a systematic review with meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Taken together, these findings showed that RAGT might have a potential role in gait recovery in subacute stroke survivors. Time Use of Stroke Patients with Stroke Admitted for Rehabilitation in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
CONCLUSION: Patients spent more than half of the day on therapeutic activities. CLINICAL RELEVANCE: Nurses are faced with the challenge of activating patients with stroke and to assist them to engage in purposeful task-oriented exercises including daily activities. Thereby better rehabilitation results and recovery of patients may be reached.
