Benefit of initial dual-therapy on stroke prevention in Chinese hypertensive patients: a real world cohort study.
CONCLUSIONS: Our study demonstrates that, for patients with uncontrolled hypertension, initial dual therapy is more effective in the prevention of stroke during the first 6 months of treatment, but not thereafter. Combination antihypertensive therapy may be a beneficial initial strategy for early stroke prevention. PMID: 26101644 [PubMed]

One-stage hybrid procedure for distal aortic arch disease: mid-term experience at a single center.
Conclusions: The one-stage hybrid procedure provides acceptable mid-term results with good mid-term patency of extra-anatomic bypass. Strict selection of patients suitable for hybrid repair can effectively improve the survival rate and reduce the incidence of complications. Study on the predictive ability of emergency CHADS < sub > 2 < /sub > score and CHA < sub > 2 < /sub > DS < sub > 2 < /sub > -VASc score for coronary artery disease and prognosis in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction
CONCLUSIONS: Multiple factors jointly affect the severity and prognosis of CAD in patients with acute STEMI.
