Shorter Door-to-Needle Times Are Associated With Better Outcomes After Intravenous Thrombolytic Therapy and Endovascular Thrombectomy for Acute Ischemic Stroke
CONCLUSIONS: Among older patients with stroke treated with either IVT only or IVT+EVT, shorter DTN times are associated with better long-term functional outcomes and lower mortality. Improvement in Rates of Thrombolytic Therapy in Acute Stroke by a Telestroke Program in Rural Northern Wisconsin (P1.011)
Conclusion: Following development of a Telestroke program in northern Wisconsin, rural stroke patients benefited from dramatic increases in access to neurological expertise and acute thrombolytic treatment.
