Predictors of futile recanalization after endovascular treatment in acute ischemic stroke: a meta-analysis
Conclusion This study identified female sex, comorbidities, admission systolic blood pressure, serum glucose, occlusion site, non-bridging therapy, and post-procedural complication as predictors of futile recanalization, and also confirmed previously reported factors. Further large-scale prospective studies are needed.

P-008 Evaluating Racial/Ethnic Disparity in Endovascular Thrombectomy Outcome for Acute Stroke Patients: 4,763 patients using Premier data 2011 to 2015
ConclusionsThere were no differences in hospital outcome among races/ethnicities in endovascular thrombectomy outcomes for acute stroke patients in the Premier data. Racial/ethnic disparities play role for patients’ selection not for patients’ outcome in endovascular thrombectomy.DisclosuresS. Park: None. M. Pilot: None. M. E-177 Treatment of ischemic stroke in patients diagnosed with covid-19: a matched analysis of the national inpatient sample
ConclusionsIn this matched NIS analysis of patients treated for ischemic stroke with a concomitant COVID diagnosis, we demonstrate that EVT trends towards, although nonsignificant, higher rates of favorable functional outcomes when compared to medically managed patients.Abstract E-177 Table 1Patients with COVID and Acute Ischemic Stroke Comparing medical management vs EVT 1:1 Nearest Neighbor Matching for EVT based on Age, NIHSS, Gender, and Comorbidities Medically Managed N = 495 1 Endovascular ThrombectomyN = 495 1 p-value 2 Age in years at admission 66.82 ± 16.98 (19.00-90.00), (1.77) 65.67 ± 14.81 (28...

E-093 Carotid webs and stroke: a comprehensive overview of clinical characteristics, risk factors, and treatment modalities
ConclusionThis is the largest systematic review of CWs to date. This study provides novel information not only about risk factors and common treatment modalities for CWs, but also the relationship between CWs and stroke. This data may aid physicians in diagnosis of CWs in younger patients who present with stroke-like symptoms and no cardiovascular risk factors. Furthermore, medical treatment alone may not be as effective as stenting or surgical options.Disclosures N. Gupta: None. V. Kasulla: None. A. Shahbandi: None. J. Gendreau: None. R. Singh: None. N. Predictors of early neurologic deterioration (END) following stroke thrombectomy
Conclusions Older patients with acute ischemic stroke who have a history of diabetes or hypertension, with elevated pretreatment SBP and failed reperfusion are at a higher risk of END following stroke thrombectomy for emergent large vessel occlusion.

O-033 Intracranial VCAM1 at time of mechanical thrombectomy predicts ischemic stroke severity
ConclusionsThe current study provides novel data on systemic and intracranial VCAM1 in relation to stroke comorbidities, stroke severity, functional outcomes, as well as the role VCAM1 plays in complex protein-protein signaling pathways. These data will allow future studies to develop predictive biomarkers and proteomic targets for drug development to improve our ability to treat a devastating pathology.Disclosures B.
