Introduction
This online supplement is the first of three featuring previously accepted manuscripts focusing on ischemic stroke. The last decade has witnessed a revolution in the endovascular management of acute ischemic stroke. Device improvement, better-constructed prospective trials, and refinements in endovascular techniques have sparked this revolution. However, critical issues still need to be addressed.
