Impact of cardiovascular disease on in-hospital mortality in patients with COVID-19
Conclusion: COVID-19 patients with CVD comorbidites have a higher risk of in-hospital death. Optimal care and good control of CVD are essential in this patient group.

Long-term outcomes of percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: a 13-year nationwide cohort study
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is associated with increased risk of coronary atherosclerosis. However, its impact on the long-term outcomes in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has not been described. Using the National Health Insurance Research Database of Taiwan, we identified 215275 adult patients who underwent first-time PCI between 2000 and 2012.
