The virtual family conference in stroke rehabilitation: Education, preparation, and transition planning
CONCLUSIONS: The virtual family conference intervention demonstrated efficacy in facilitating carer education and preparation, along with discharge planning prior to community transition from stroke rehabilitation. CONCLUSION: Exemplary post-discharge care included knowledge regarding identification and treatment of stroke-related impairment, that is, information found in best practice guidelines. However, expertise related to building relationship through providing personalized respectful care, within a mutually supportive, improvement-oriented team was also essential. A scoping review to identify process and outcome measures used in acceptance and commitment therapy research, with adults with acquired neurological conditions
CONCLUSIONS: This study provides a resource to support future identification of candidate measures. This could aid development of a Core Outcome Set to support both research and clinical practice. Further research to identify the most appropriate and relevant targets and tools for use in these populations should include expert consensus, patient, carer and public involvement and psychometric examination of measures.PMID:36540937 | DOI:10.1177/02692155221144554
